If you have not installed the desired ACE module, then download the full program and the upgrade (install the
full program first, then the upgrade). Otherwise, just download the upgrade
to get the latest executable. If the full program and upgrade are the
same version then you do not need to install the upgrade.
The programs below are fully functional, but will
only run for between 4 or 5 hours before automatically shutting down.
You can re-start them as many times as you like during your 30-day
evaluation period. Also, the server will only allow a maximum of
2 clients to connect at a time. After registration payment is
received, a license code will be e-mailed to you that will remove
these restrictions. See the
REGISTRATION
page
for details.
Don't forget to check out the
ACE eXchange page for great
software to enhance ACE!
Notes:
The full program installation includes ACE-32 and
ACE-TTS. However, ACE-TTS requires the speech engine and
voice files that can be downloaded from the ACE-TTS download area
below.
There is a $20 upgrade
fee if going from version 2.x to 3.x. To upgrade, visit our
STORE and
select the UPGRADE option before adding ACE Client to your cart.
ACE-TTS Version 4.x requires the
SAPI 5.1 TTS engine. You can download only the TTS related
files, or download the entire Speech SDK 5.1
(SAPI 5.1) from Microsoft (if you are a programmer you may want
the entire SDK so you can write your own TTS and voice recognition
programs).
Windows XP includes Windows Installer
2.0 and some SAPI support. If you find that you need Windows
Installer 2.0, go to
www.microsoft.com and search for "windows installer 2.0" to
find the download for your version of Windows.
An
EXCELLENT sounding engine and voices can be purchased from
ATT for $99
(desktop version). The ATT "Crystal" voice is very good!
There is a $10 upgrade fee if going
from version 2.x to 4.x. To upgrade, visit our
STORE and
select the UPGRADE option before adding ACE-TTS to your cart.
ACE-MS: E-mail send and dial-up connection support module
Notes:
ACE-CID is not needed if your caller id device is going to be on
the same pc as ACE Server, since ACE Server supports caller id.
You only need ACE-CID if your caller id device is NOT connected to
the pc running ACE Server. In this case, ACE-CID is used to
forward the caller id data over the network to ACE Server.
