Video Distribution
Video distribution allows for
all video sources to be viewed
and controlled from any room.
This is accomplished by moving
almost all of the video sources
(cable box, satellite box, etc.)
to 1 central location.
For example, we can put 3 cable
boxes, a DVD movie server and a
VuDu HD Internet movie player in
a basement rack. Any TV in
the house can choose to watch
any of these sources. We
can also put a DVD player in the
family room that can be watched
and controlled from any room.
This makes it easy to watch a
single DVD without needing to go
to the rack location.
No matter which room your are
in, or what source you are
watching, you use a universal
remote to easily control
everything (volume, channel,
play, pause, guide, record, and
so on).
If you have cameras then they
can also be viewed on any TV.
With the press of a button on
the remote, you can easily see
who is in the driveway, at the
front door, or watch the kids
playing in the backyard.
